My tenant received an online price quote to clean the carpet in my house for approximately $380. After the tenant confirmed the price with their sales representative she agreed with their price quote and shared it with me. I agreed to share the cost of the carpet cleaning. Chem-dry showed up with 2 people to clean the carpet at my house and did a great job. Upon completion, the service representative handed me an invoice for $1,033 of which the tenant said that is not what her online price quote and telephone conversation with the chem-dry sales representative stated. The service employee refused to leave until he received payment for which i issued a check and then cancel upon discussing the situation with the tenant considering what she was understanding and what she was told. She tried talking and negotiating a reduced price closer to what they had quoted and they refused to negotiate and are now suing me for $1,033. I want to make a payment of the price of their online quote and telephone conversation with their sales representative of $380.
