'Check Engine' light repairs for state inspection! My Rav 4 runs GREAT and I've been driving Toyotas since 1977 & never had a problem like this before. I went to IRA toyota, Manchester, NH. For a recall notice, en re the 'Check Engine' lights. The estimate given me by Jenny-Lynn Loring was for over 2,700 dollars. Charlie Parker, Service Manager, assured me it was all legitimate. I've driven toyotas since 1977, and have bought 3 or 4 from this dealer before. NEVER AGAIN! This 'Check Engine' light is a total scam & I've never had a problem like this (state inspection refusal) before in my life! Never, Never, bring your car to a Dealer for repairs!!! Even (especially) when it's 'free' due to a recall...
