Installed device in car which caused engine computer to fail

When I purchased my car these people installed a payment protection system in the ignition circuit which caused the engine control computer to fail. And after 3 years of payment after payment the car will not pass emissions inspection due to this device.

When I purchased the car the check engine light came on after 1 week, I took it back for repairs and was told after 3 days the car was ready, I was told that the cathalic converts were replaced and the check engine light stayed off for 2years 6months at which time I had the Toyota dealer check the car and was told the lower sensor was bad, I purchased a new sensor and had it installed by the local muffler shop, a week later the light came on again, after having it checked again I was told the upper sensor was bad, again I purchased a sensor and paid to have it installed and the light went out for one week and came back on, so back to the Toyota dealer again and was told that the engine computer was bad and it would cost $2200.00 for replacement, I than checked at a local parts yard and was told that the company that sold me the car should have installed a auto locator box and not a payment ignition device because it is known that the payment ignition box will cause engine computer malfunction and that is why the check engine light came on in the first place, I informed the Value Max dealer and they said bring the car back and the device will be removed and said I would have to pay for the new computer.
