In may I purchased two rite tie motorcycle tie down straps to secure my dirt bike. On July 20 while using the tie down's exactly as they were intended to be used - securing my motorcycle to a trailer - one of the straps broke causing the motorcycle to fall off the trailer. Fortunately it did not hit oncoming traffic and no one was injured, but the motorcycle was totalled. The motorcycle shop where I purchased the straps concured that it appeared the buckle had some rough areas that likely caused the breakage. We sent in the straps to Rite Tie and they refused to cover repair damages and stand behind its product
