There is a dirty little secret about Expedia. They aren't responsible for anything that goes wrong when you fly. I had a Jet Blue flight to New York and then connecting to an international flight. It was a different carrier. Jet Blue canceled their flight which meant I wouldn't make my international connection. I called Expedia and the first time some confused individual put me on hold and then cut me off. It was obvious he didn't know what to do so he probably scammed the call monitoring system and just disconnected me and feigned ignorance. I called back and they changed my flights for a fee. The dirty little secret is this. It's like two trips. The international carrier doesn't care about Jet Blue and Jet Blue doesn't care about your international carrier. Expedia doesn't care about anything. You are left holding the bag. It would have been far better to spend a little more and book all the way through with one airline. Expedia just takes the money and runs, then provides iffy customer service.
