I purchased a $25 gift card, and it was stolen within 10 minutes of the purchase. I did have the receipt however, so I figured with all the confirmation numbers they print on the receipt, it must be linked to that specific gift card. I either wanted my money back via credit on my kindle, or for them to make sure the robber could not get use from the card, and deactivate it using my receipt information. Apparently the receipt numbers for confirmation etc, mean nothing!!! And they were the coldest lying Customer service company I ever dealt with! They said the best they could do was give me a $5 credit to my account, but they couldn't even do that for me, since there is a zero balance still after 10 days. They also claimed they would call me back if they could stop the card from working, and I got no courtesy call!!! I was outragged... I want my $25 credit, since it's not my fault they don't put anything on the receipt that help deactivate the card, when I clearly had just purchased it ten minutes prior to calling them!
