Received a text on my cell saying I 'had been selected to win a free ipad'.
Followed the link http://apple.com.ca. Llvc.cc, entered the promo code 'free' and was directed to the Ziinga site.
Opened a live chat window, and the following exchange happened;

Henry: i received a text from you saying i had been selected to receive a free ipad
Henry: how do i get it please?
Raven: Please disregard the text message because we did not send it.

Henry: well i checked the source of the text and it did come from you, and when i entered the promo code on your web site... It was accepted as valid...?
Henry: hello?
Raven: There is no field in our website to enter a promo code.
Henry: no that is not on your web site, but when i do enter the promo code i am directed to your site

Raven: If you notice, there is no option for you to claim that item in our website.
Raven: That is because it is not ours.
Raven: Whoever has that promo, it is not us.
Raven: The site you entered the code is not our website.
Raven: The link is also not ours.
Henry: well that makes it a very convenient way to drive traffic to your web site then doesn't it?
Henry: and... Probably as with many users you then think that you have to register to claim your prize
