A fradulent process server filled papers that Tiffer's Upholstery LLC was served on 6-18-12. For a small claims case to appear July 13th @ 1.00 pm in Superior court of California. Due to us not knowing about the court hearing a judgement was render against Tiffer's Upholstery LLC for $ 4,290.00. (case # 12SC02581) This person needs to have their liscence taken away for this. I contacted the person by phone the secretary contacted us by phone 3-times. Asking questions - telling us this address was a home.tiffer's Upholstery LLC is a homebase business.
This is not possible the home was being remodeled. Our move in date was delayed due to the home not being ready.tiffer's Upholstery LLC moved in July 3rd 2012. Further more, we had issue's with our mail being stop for 5-6 weeks. We recieved the documents yeasterday by mail.
This is completely unfair... I had to file a vacate judement which requires us to go to court to defend Tiffer's Upholstery LLC.
Instead it should be through out with no appearance required. This is also a fradulent claim the person would of never got a judgement against us if we were notified and attended. The complaint was for sopyright infrigments there exceptions to the rule. If used for a teaching of any kind the copyrights doesn't pertain.tiffer's purchase 13-dvd's from Auto Restorations (a previous student purchase getting a discount & 1-free dvd. When contacted we stop in and paided $ 325.00. We sent the original dvd's back certified mail and took the lose to settle this matter.instead we were tricked by Auto Restoration and a judgment was enter against us.
