A few months ago FPL asked me to give them a deposit of 315$ because I was late paying my bills a few times however they punished me by adding a late fee to my next bill each time. When I refused to pay the deposit because I could not afford it, I made sure I was current with my bills. They insisted I pay the deposit which I will receive a 2% interest after a year which will probably not refunded to me as the promised, they will find something to hit me with. If the collect a deposit of $315 from only 1Million people the just collected 315Million bucks out of which they pay 2% interest and then turan around and invest it to gain a much higher profit. But they always want to raise rates because they are not making enough money!!! What's wrong with this picture. Today they turned my power off because of deposit however I am current with my electric bill, I havew kids at home which I am unable to feed hot food because of FPL's GREED. I hope they deregulate electricity so hopefully we can put them out of business and make them feel what all of us the clients feel about such a greedy and poorly run company.
