The same thing happen to me about a chihuahua puppie for free. All i had to pay for was 165.00 for shipping and registration fees.
After I paid the money they sent me a e-mail to say I need to send them 650.00 for an electronic air condition crate because the puppie was to young to travel in an ordinary pet traveling cage. That just did not sound right that I had to pay for the crate. The sender was suppose to pay for that. I went back to the web page to see if I saw the person that I was communicating with in email and there she was on other ads trying to sell a puppy with three other differnt addresses with diffrent city names. I was sent pictures of a male and female puppy that at first I thought these look like professional pictures because the setting and posses of the puppies was professional looking. Always check out the listings of the person that is advertising to see if they are advertising under another name. If there is two or three names about the same thing and one or two of the names do not get back intouch with you, it is probably the same person using a different name. My suggestion is if you want a puppy go to a pet store, shelter or if a person where you live have one to sale or give out. You save more money and know that you are getting what you paid for locally.
