Ordered a pair of shoes. Received a "confirmation" email, but nothing else. A link in that "confirmation" message takes you to a site with "information" on your "payment" — which claimed that it was "pending" even though the payment had gone through with paypal and was listed on my credit card. Emails to the "customer service" address all bounced back. Then I found this and called paypal, who said that it is "covered" — but we'll see if I get my money back...
The only thing that could have tipped me off was that this supposed online retail company gave paypal as the *only* payment option. I've never seen that before, but didn't think much of it. Now it is something to watch out for.
