Got a call from my card's fraud-prevention department, asking if I'd approved a charge for the amount above to JDIBilling.com. I hadn't, of course. Immediately checked my account and see multiple charges and refunds, all dated for today, all for $10.48; on the phone, I'm told that this activity plus the $101.04 charge which hadn't updated online yet triggered their fraud-prevention alert and got them in touch with me (I'd set up fraud alerts with them a little while back). Card's cancelled, new card supposed to be here Monday, with investigation paperwork following soon thereafter. The card number could actually have gotten out a couple of ways - I was recently on vacation out of town, and the card saw heavy use, or (probably more likely) I used it for some online purchases not too long ago and the info was either stolen from or sold by the vendor (s). The card issuer said up front that they'd be in touch with all three credit bureaus, so this should not affect my credit.

Scammers suck.
