Jail call services set me up with a local telephone number so that my son could call me from jail and it would be free. The cost is $79.00 plus a one time set-up fee. The $79.00 is for six months of service. This can not be done in a jail because it is a third party call. Not thinking about that I went for it. Of course my son could not reach me with that number. My chase credit card was charged, but thankfully, Chase is removing the charge now, pending a 90 day period to be sure the company being fraudulent. I put this information on Facebook and I hope a lot of people read and heed it.
