I received a check in the mail for Mystery Shoppers program and also with a list of assignments to follow. As much as I wanted to run to the Bank, i didnt. My husband and I did research and called the number on the paper which was my "account manager" to see what info I could get from him, which he wasnt of much help and he did state i have no reason to worry and I just needed to follow the steps listed and call him when i completed them... Well after getting off the phone with him, I called the Bank in TX to see if there was a account open in that name or account number and she was very helpful and said there is no account by any of that information... I will be taking this information to my Bank here so they can be aware of it incase it happens to someone else. Thankful we used our common sense or we would of been out the amount of the check and maybe even more. Its a darn shame...
