On May 14 I went to Alan Jay service tech to ask a price for a serpentine belt. I knew what the problem was as my garage could not fix it. I was quoted $80.00-$90.00. I made an apt for May 15. I was in the waiting room and the service tech 3318 Joseph Romanik came to me and said it would not be $80.00-$90.00, that Ihad these other problems, a tensioner and a a/c compressor, it would be $275.50. If I did not have this work done he would not guarentee it. I did not come in for an a/c compressor, just for a serpentine belt. He said I could get stuck on the road and since I am a grandmother of 4 I did not want that.
I paid the bill and when they mailed me the survey I filled it out with this information and never herd from anyone. I feel I was completely ripped off for almost $200.00. I am on Social Security and get $601.00 a month so this really put me in a bind that month. While I was sitting there the couple in the room were quoted $300.00 and someone told them it would be $900.00. This is a big practice at Alan Jay. The reason I waited so long is that I never knew about your web site until last night. Thank You
