Two weeks ago I made an appointment (through H.H. Greg) to have my washer and dryer serviced. I was given a time frame of 8:00am and 5:00pm that a service tech would arrive and look at my machines for $69.95.
At 1:00 pm the service tech called and said he was on his way. Within minutes, he called to tell me that the service call would be $55.00 per machine. I replied that that was not what I had been quoted.
When he arrived, he stated that even though it was on his service report that I had been quoted one price, A & E would only do the work for the higher price. His supervisor then called and again said A & E would only do the work for the higher price (no matter what quote they had on file). The service tech left while I was trying to get trough to H.H. Greg to get the problem resolved.
After waiting five hours, do they expect all of their customers to just "roll over" and accept the price jump? What a way to make a profit! If I used this practice in my business, I would be out of work within months! Bait and switch is illegal.
My advice to all consumers is RUN from this company. They are con artist out to make a quick buck on helpless appliance owners.
