I received a call from "Sunset Publications" asking if I was receiving my magazines. I told them I don't know what you are talking about because I am not receiving any magazines. She said it looks like I am paying my bills on time and she would give me a credit but wanted my date of birth. I asked to talk to a supervisor and she told me she cannot transfer me if I do not give her my DOB. I told her I don't want to give her that information then she told me again she cannot transfer me to a supervisor w/o me giving her my DOB. When I asked her to hold on because I want to get the contact info for her company, she hung up on me. I found the phone number for Sunset Magazine and called them asking if I have an account with them and she verified that I DO NOT have an account. I am glad that I did not give any personal information to this Scammer who would not transfer me to a supervisor. Everyone needs to be careful when someone calls and wants personal information about you. I didn't lose any money but wanted to warn people about this scam.
