My problem with Sunset Publications in November when I noticed an entry in my checking account for 119.90. I called the number on the entry to see what this was all about and they said I had signed up for magazines thru Sunset Publications and I had to pay $59.95 for the next 3 years for the magazines I signed up for and it was past the 30 day time period for me to cancel this account. I told her I was a Senior, living on a fixed income and was unable to pay this. She said she would be kind and lower my payment to $49.95 a month.
Anyway, I cancelled my debit card so they would not be able to take any more money from my account. Then low and behold I received a bill in the mail for the missed payments and the current payment. So far I have ignored the bill.
Has anyone been able to get rid of Sunset Publications. If so I would be interested to know how you did it.
