Initially I saw they were selling a Galaxy Tab Note 10.1 N8000 for $400 USD. I sent an email asking for some of the details of this particular device. I received an emil from Jeffery saying that I would be able to recieve this item for $400 USD and delivery will be in two days. I enquired about payment through a credit card but was told that Payment from Canada was only through Western Union.
I asked what the rate was in CDN dollars, and was told $420. I went back and said the price seemed a little excessive considering the exchange rate and he settled for $405 CDN.
I sent the money via Western Union, and recieved an email the next day with the URL of www.invictalog.net along with a tracking number. I have since also dscovered that this company is a sham as well.
I logged in and notice that the deviced left the UK and had the right delivery address. I was content that this was legit.
Twenty Four hours later, I recieved an email from Jeffery saying that there was a slight mistake in the order and that instead of sending 1, they sent 10. He also informed me that they had placed the order on hold and wanted me to pay an additional amount of $2450 to pay for the rest of the devices.
I informed him that I did not want the other 9 devices and refused to pay the additional amount. I also requested that either they straighten out the error, resend the device, continue the current shipment or kindly rfund the money.
His response was that if I just paid the VAT and Fee Taxes that worked out to be approx. $189 dollars, again to be paid by Western Union. The shipment would then be released and I would help them sell the additional tabs and then send them the money.
I refused saying that this was not my concern. I held up my end of the bargain and sent the money via WU in good faith, and again I requested a refund or release of the shipment. His response was to say that if I didn't pay the VAT, I wouldn't get the shipment, and he couldn't refund the money because the shipment had already been sent.
I sent him a final email to him stating that what he and his company has done is a scam, and I would not spend another dime trying to get this order. He responded by saying that they are not a scam, and atached an apparent passport photo of himself, however, it was a US Passport which I thought was odd considering he claims he lives in the UK.
Buyer beware..."Too good to be true" certainly holds true on this site
