I ordered a Cisco Linksys wireless router online from www.computerpartsdirect.Us on June 18. I immediately received an order confirmation/receipt via email from [email protected]. The next day I received another order confirmation/receipt from Cathrine Cooks of Cooks Custom Computers. I paid for express 2-day shipping on this item and after 4 days of not receiving it or getting a tracking number for the shipment, i got worried. When I placed the online order I created an account on the website so I can go back and check the status. I tried to login to the account, but received an SQL error each time i tried. I figured I may have put the password in wrong so i tried to use the password reset feature. A new password was emailed to me but when I tried to login with that password I received the same error. I tried to use the password reset feature again and again received the same error. I tried typing in a password I knew wasn't correct and I immediately receive a notice that the username or password didn't match their records. So I know i was putting in correct passwords before, their login system is either broken or meant to throw customers off. Since I couldnt log into the website, I sent an email to the sales address.By now it was July 2nd. I did not receive a response. I waited a few days and sent a second email (July 10th) and still did not receive a response. I waited 2 more days and called the number posted on both the website and in the email confirmation I received. A machine answered the phone. I'm fed up with this company. I ordered the same product from Amazon, paid less and received it, within a few days of the purchase order. After my experience with www.computerpartsdirect.Us I did some checking online and other people have experienced similar problems. Some of them eventually received their products and others never did. I believe this online merchant is a scam and should be shut down.
