I was offered a special offer to recieve a free 14 day trial with some slimming pills paying only £2.49 pp. The order was placed on the 27th June. I was then charged a further £75.00 on the 14 th for going over the trial period and not cancelling the trial. The time scale is my issue as clearly if an order is placed on the 27th then having not recieved the product untill 3rd and given that you cannot call sat/sun you are not given a full 14days and that's where my argument is with them. I have phoned and a mailed but they ate not listening to my point. The system is clearly flawed and is set up to catch people out. I fully complied with the t's and cs but they say not.
I spoke to the trading standards and my bank also.
