A person claiming to be from Dish Net Work called me and said that I can get a full year service for half the normal price if I pay the half price ($900) through green dot moneypak prepaid card. He even credited the full year service fee amount of $1800 to my account. I said I wanted two days to arrange the funds, but actually wanted this time to verify things before I buy the $900 prepaid card. I then chatted with Dish Network representative and they said they do not know about such a scheme. Then I searched in Google and found that some are fooled by this promise because the credit to the account gets reversed and the money pak prepaid card money goes to the fraudster's pockets. I would like to thank others who have reported this fraud; I hope Dish Network clamps down on this fraud which is probably originating from its own employees or agents.
