Ripoff, grocery and prescription vouchers offe

I received a call from a telemarketer asking if I would be interested in $500 worth of grocery coupons, I said NO! She insisted that I had nothing to lose only $1.95 in shipping costs. I eventually agreed. I was put on hold and then asked if I was interested in prescription vouchers I resisted, but after asking several times about cancellation procedures and after being given a number to call to cancel, I agreed.

Amazingly I was offered yet another offer, I think it may have been magazines, at this point I was furious. The following day I called the number I had been given and cancelled both programs. I asked three times if both the grocery and medical 'plans' had been cancelled. I was assured they were. A couple of weeks later my bank account was debited $129.90. I called the company and was assured that the money would be refunded and would take about 10 days. After 10 days I called again, this time taking the name of the person I dealt with. "Be assured Mrs Lalgee" I was told "we are a customer service company and we are here to help you, the money will be refunded, leave if for 10 days.

So I did, 18 days passed and still no money. I called again. Tony Almeda was the contact. I asked for the Corporate HQ number, and was told he didn't know it. I asked to speak to his boss, and was told he was the supervisor. I told him I owned a business and that was crap. I kept saying over and over Want to speak to your boss, I want to speak to your boss, eventually I was put through to Trisha Lopez, and was told the exact story. I called Trisha several times that day, I asked her for the name of the customer service company she worked for, and she said she didn't know.

I said that I knew the call center was based in India, because everyone spoke with an Indian accent, she said the CS center was based in the Philippines. Again I asked what was the name of the customer service company, this time she said she couldn't tell. I said if I phoned because I was interested in using this company as a customer service center for my company wouldn't she give me the name, she said NO! I have placed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.org) My bank cant do anything as the debit is now past 60 days. I would be interested in a class action against CPI AND THE CALL CENTER who know exactly what is going on.
