Sometime in June a representative from Discover Enterprises calls and offered free grocery vouchers. I told him that I was not interested and hung up the phone. He called right back and proceeded to tell me about a promise of $500 in grocery vouchers, (they really ment coupons that you could only use $25 at a time to download off the computer). They also offered $40 in Walmart gift cards and $80 in gas vouchers to look over their products for 30 days. At no time did they ever mention magazines. Before the time to cancel was up I received a call saying that I signed up for magazines at $49.95 a month. They say I agreed to it on tape. The only way I would have agreed to this is under duress or misrepresentation of the products. I have cancelled all products involved including the magazines. This morning I received one call before 6am and one at 6am from this same Company. He started off by asking me if I had received my various vouchers. I said yes and proceeded to tell him that it was 6am and he needed to put me on the DO NOT CALL BACK list and he hung up. He called back at 6:30am, I repeated the above instructions and hung up. He called back in ten minutes, my husband answered the phone and refused to let the fellow speak to me and asked to speak to his manager, the fellow refused and finally hung up. Thru out the morning he called back several times. We have an unlisted number and are very tired of their harrassment. Our phone number is also listed with the Do Not Call Gov. I also told another representative, on another day, from this same company that I was going to turn them into the BBB (and I have). He said, "I don't care, we've been in business for 20 years."
