This individual has a job posted on Craigslist.com looking for Receptionist/Office Assistant. I replied to this posting stating that I was interested in the job and included my resume. He explained that he had a Law Firm located in 182 E Mall
Vancouver, Canada, V6C 1A1 but that he was in need of an office assistant because he was going to be out of the country for three weeks. He explained the duties that included running errands, taking messages for him, filling documents etc. I accepted the job thinking all this was true. He told me that my first assignment would be to deposit a money he was going to donate to an orphanage located in 2552 Ginny Way. Colorado Spring, Colorado the receiver of this money was named Joyce Crouch. He mailed me a check to my address and I deposited to my bank account like I was told. A few days later my bank called me and notified me that they were going to investigate the check because they weren't able to locate the bank. Later that day I went to my bank to ask what was going on and they explained that the check was a fraud. I took the e-mails this individual sent me to prove that I was not aware that it was all a lie. I also filed a police report so that they could open a case to find this person. I reported it to Craigslist so that they can remove his post and no one believes this.
