Just found out you have a LIFETIME spending limit!!! Got notice I was near my limit. I said, I am no where near the limit for this month. That's when I found out I had a Lifetime limit of $6500.
To lift the limit, I had to be VERIFIED. They wanted my bank information or get a PayPal credit card. I said, "NO WAY"!!!
I have done business with them over 10 years and they have had orders shipped to the SAME address for over 7 years. My AMEX has NEVER turned down a purchase. SO WHAT MORE DO THEY NEED TO BE VERIFIED! They want access to yor bank account, so they can pull the money directly. AMEX probably charges them for the use. TOO BAD! I told them either lift the limit OR close the account. And of course you are talking to people that DO NOT use english as thier main language.
