This summer camp sent e-mails out to my daughters public school's entire list of student contacts. So I figured we would try a new camp this summer. What a big mistake. I filled out the medical forms the camp needed. I stated that my older daughter suffers from over heating and will throw up. They had to walk a 2 mile area without any water bottles. My daughter and another camper fell behind in this walk. The head camp counselor Becky singled my daughter out in front of all the other campers and said, " Jasmin you are really pissing me off". The other child walking right along side my daughter lives in Ave Maria, we do not! When I picked up my daughters, it was my younger daughter who ran up to me and said, " that lady is so mean to us mom, she said a bad word to sissy" this was their second day at this camp and their last! They did enjoy the other 3 days befor this at the camps water park. It is away from the main camp and the head camp counselor tans and swims while campers play, so my daughters were able to stay far away from her. When I questioned this head counselor why she used such an unkind word with a child, she rolled her eyes at me. So I went to the owner Karen. She had already charged my credit card & there is a no refund policy. She could also care less. Said my daughter has an attitude problem. My daughter cried the whole way home. My younger daughter then said, "well Miss. Becky did say, " If you don't like this camp then... Stay home". I have e-mails from the owner stating that Becky did admit to using inappropriate words. The owner stands behind her friend. So please beware of this camp! If you do not live in this community they do not want you there! And will degrade your children! There are so many great, child friendly, less expensive, everyone welcomed camps in the city of Naples. We Have been going to summer camps for the past 6 years and have never had any bad experiences.
