We were looking for a home to rent in charlestton. I looked on craigslist for a home and found a home for rent at 6 brennon. The woman emailed and said we could rent the house, she was supposed to be a pediatrician working in nebraska and wanted to rent out her home in charleston. I was to send her my deposit on july 11 and in return she would mail me the keys and rental agreement. On june 27 we drove down to look at the house, we found the house. When returning home i emailed her to tell her we really liked the house and as promised i would send the money as agreed. Something didn't feel right so i started checking into a couple of things, i found that the house is for rent for $2000.00 a month through a realtor. I emailed the realtor and they contacted my husband and said indeed it was a scam. Is there anyway to have this removed from craigslist before someone else gets taken? We were scammed a couple of yrs. Ago by an online home loan company and it really sucks.
