Apparently official-online-tickets.com services a number of ticket vendors. They charge a service fee per ticket. That makes sense, after all they are in business to make money. My problem is this: my daughter purchased tickets to the San Diego Civic center to see Wicked. The tickets were $110 each. Official-online-tickets.com charged 23.5% per ticket as their service fee.in her excitement, my daughter clicked accept before she realized she was paying over $100 in service fees.
You see, the service fee appeared thus: 4X $25.85. She should've been more careful, I don't dispute that, but how do you justify paying that kind of service fee per ticket. I searched around and found a number of sites selling tickets to the same show, and the most expensive service fee I found was less than half what official-online-tickets.com charged.
I called their customer service and they basically said to bad.
I want to be clear, it was my daughter's fault; she should have been much more attentive.
I, nor anyone in my family will EVER use official-online-tickets.com again. I suggest that anyone using official-online-tickets.com look elsewhere first. I am pretty sure you will find much more acceptable service fees.
