Changing due date on gas bill to coincide with social security disability check

Retired from AGL after 27 years of service. Gas bill due around 21st of month. I receive my disability check the 4th wed of every month. How can I get gas bill due date changed to coincide with Social security disability check? My bill is past due every month and GNG says they can't change it!!! Surely senior on disability that worked for AGL 27 years of good service is deserving!!!
