Smith & Noble
Consumer Report

I ran across this company through one of the job search engines. They had jobs posted in my field such as medical receptionist. Once you click on the job link, it takes you directly to the Smith & Noble site and you are prompted to enter your information and upload resume. About a day later, I received a text message saying I needed to call them in reference to the medical receptionist position. Once I got on the phone with them, they start advertising for online college and offering financial aid. I told them I wasn't interested and then they said based on my information they had matched me to about 4 different positions to choose from and that I would receive an email with the job matches at the top and I could click on them to apply. At the end of our conversation, she again asked if she could transfer me to the online college specialist who wanted to ask me some more questions... Even after I said I wasn't interested! Needless to say, I never received the email that had the jobs listed; however, I have received junk email about going back to school! This company may be a legitimate company helping to advertise for colleges but they sure go about it in a deceptive way!!! I'm seriously needing a job and have great qualifications - I don't need my time wasted by false hope postings for jobs that really do not exist, only to try to get me to go back to school.
