Met this guy, Andrew Reece, caramel. [email protected] at a dating site (Christianmingle.com) on Nov.. He said he is a 65 years old, British, widowed for 5 years, wife died of cancer, lives in Beverly Hills, California, a son who is studying Medicine at Oxford Univ.in England. He claimed to be a good loving Christian and fear GOD, sounds real and true. He's in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia doing construction business of a big shopping mall and his contract will be done in 3 months. We communicated through emails, IM and phone and then he's sending me flowers, love notes and love poetry. We became friends. First week of December, he send email / calls that he got robbed and all his funds/documents in his suitcase were all gone. After 2 days, he needed my help to loan him some money so he can finish his contract and promised/vowed to pay me back when he gets back to California. At first I was hesitant because i don't know this person and I just met him on line. He kept on emailing and calling me that he really need the money. He send me a copy of his contract and his 1.5M contract payment certificate as a proof that he has the money to pay me back. Well, as a good Christian with a kind heart, helping people in need as I always do, I decided to loan the money with the belief and trust that he'll pay me back as he promised. He really empty my saving as he kept on asking more loans like:
* as he was ready to come home he fell on the roof doing inspection, broke his ankle
and needed money for his surgery & medical bills.
* airfare/hotel bills
* then came the Malaysian Tax for his 1.5M payment, 3%
I was so foolish and stupid enough in trusting and believing him. He is 100% professional scammer, manipulator, evil, devil and a LIAR. I never thought that there's evil people out there going to dating sites and scam good hearted individual and take advantage of them. I already reported him to IC3/FBI, the Malaysian Police, hope he gets caught, put to justice and put to jail the rest of his life. He claimed that he's British but I doubt it. Who ever you are Andrew Reece, you reap what you sow, there's nothing free in this world, you have to sweat hard to earn an honest living.
