I used a pay phone in the Seattle airport as I had lost my cell phone on a flight. There were NO charges posted, nor was there anything in the automated system that stated the rates. I made four 2 minute phone calls trying to locate my cell phone. Later that evening when I tried to use my credit card, it was declined. Come to find out my bank had shut down my account because these charges had been flagged. Four charges at $33.94 per call was an insane amount of $135.76!!! Two of the calls didn't even connect. When I called customer service, I was told I was out of luck, it wasn't their responsibility to post charges. Oh, but they offered to give me 25% off my next phone call.
