I bought a sweater for my wife for her birthday and it was just too big. I wanted to return it to Dress for Life but they won't exchange it because it's been more than 25 days since I purchased it. As a birthday gift I bought it well in advance so that I would be sure to have it on the birth date. I didn't realize dress for life has such a short return policy. Anyway, I will return it to them at my expense and hope they'll give me a store credit so she can have another size made even though their add said one size fits all.
I've used Amazon for quite a while now and have been very satisfied up to this point. But this kind of return policy is one that I've not encountered before and I think it's very unreasonable. The fact is that I trusted Amazon to connect me with reputable, reasonable vendors but in this case I feel cheated. Is there anything that Amazon can do to to help with this problem? If not, I'll ask my bank for a charge back. And likely stop using Amazon.
Thanks,
Calvin Welch
