I went on line looking for refinancing for my home. I was contacted by Mr. Curtis by phone and email. We were quoted a 3.75% on a 30yr fixed loan. We completed the loan application by esign and submitted all required documentation. We were then required to pay $450 for a home appraisal, which we did by credit card. After we got the appraisal back which was $10,000 below the appraisal three years ago when we bought and the house was new. We were unhappy with the appraisal which was $6,000 less than the balance on a loan we have had for three years. We were also quoted a new interest rate of 4.25%, which I refused, because we were locked in at 3.75%. I never heard from Mr. Curtis again. I repeatedly tried to make contact with Mr. Curtis by phone and email to try to resolve the problem. I ask Mr. Curtis for a refund of the $450 paid for the appraisal, still no response. To this date I have not been able to make contact with Mr. Curtis. He is unwilling to discuss this matter in any form or fashion.
