While one of the buyers was dying of cancer in Florida, Curtis was busy with his schemes. He created at least five sham deeds to cloud the title and then transfer the property to a shell LLC., that was later discovered owned by Curtis.
As a result of these fraudulant and unethical acts by Curtis, the buyers were screwed out of all the families savings and Curtis was unjustly enriched by selling the building twice.
