Today was my third time taking my Driving Test at the Gladstone DMV, my first test dating back in May. For the first two times I dealt with the same lady at the appointment window, and both times she told me that I had to pay $69.00 up front instead of just the $9.00 for the test. Today I was informed by another gentleman working there that I am only supposed to pay $9.00 and then the $60.00 after completing/passing the test for my license I.D. He gave me a receipt and took notice and informed me and my partner that the system had already said I had paid for this time which took us by surprise. Upon asking about the situation and asking for my money back they began asking for receipts and showed that on my past forms the original lady had only put down $9.00 both times even though I had received $11.00 in change both times with NO receipts given to me then for the $80 I had given her (only had 20 dollar bills on me at the times), as they say it is not their usual policy to give receipts (which i'm sure is against the laws of the Better Business Beaure, whom I will be making aware of this situation as well).
In short I would like my $120.00 refunded to me as prompt as possible as I find it unacceptable the way I was serviced with the lack of information from the person mentioned (sadly I do not have her name but I saw her there today as well).
