I recently moved into this apartment. Unfortunately I cannot secure DirectTV service (my obvious choice) due to some "satellite orientation". This has left me with no choice but to get satellite TV service with this unknown company *British American Communications* with telephone number 800-226-1774 as instructed by the apartment managers. This company was supposed to install the satellite/cable service last June 6; they even sent me an e-mail on June 5 confirming the installation for the following day between 8-12 noon. I had to beg off from work if only to be at home. After hopelessly waiting on the day of cable installation I called the company and only then did I learn they had some "equipment problems". They offered apologies and re-scheduled the installation of TV service for June 13. I called them up earlier today, June 12
confirming the appointment for tomorrow. They confirmed the schedule between 8-12 noon. Very good so far!!! BUT GUESS WHAT..., I just received a phone call from this good-for-nothing company telling me they still have some "equipment problems" or whatnot and asking for a THIRD (3rd) re-scheduling for June 20th. I am stuck with this company only for the reason I am unable to secure DirectTV service - and they behave like I have no choice but be patient while they, in their own good time, can get away with all these flimsy excuses. If only I have my first choice of DirectTV, I wouldn't even want to deal with this cable company. What a GREAT customer service this company provides. It s*cks!!!
