My mother who is a senior citizen went to her local Pathmark @ 227 Cherry Street NY NY 10002, on Monday night, June 11 to do some shopping. Pathmark give $5 off for senior citizens on Mondays. When checking out, the cashier charged my mothers debit card before she handed the coupon. The cashier then asked us to go to customer service to get credit. When heading to customer service, the the Pathmark employee kept saying that customer service is closed and come back tomorrow. When my mother and I went back to Pathmark the following day to get the $5 credit back, the customer rep told me that it is too late and the system would not take it. And guess who else was there... The pathmark employee who kept telling us that customer service was closed. The then said it should have been done yesterday. I said we spoke to you yesterday and told us that customer service is closed and sent us off. What a ghetto Pathmark! Pathmark... Shame on you taking advantage of senior citizens.
