I realized that somehow I had inadvertently put my first and last name as my username, which, because of grave security concerns caused me to promptly hide my profile yesterday, day three. I would have deleted my profile at that time, but when I tried to do so, a strange window came up saying I would not be refunded my monthly membership fee if I cancelled. This confused me because I had not purchased a monthly membership fee, and so I thought I ought to just let the 3-day trial run its course, rather than cause this website to somehow charge me a monthly membership fee when I just wanted to cancel, because of me clicking that button. The next day, day four, when I was expecting the trial to have ended, I saw in my main e-mail account I had received mail from men on that website. More men know my first and last name, which means they also will be able to know where i live! I am extremely anxious about all this. I do not know what to do. Additionally, I am fairly certain that they have charged me for the one-month period, although I consider the contract null and void when they violated my request to maintain my profile's privacy. I do not know what to put in the monetary damages. The issue is my safety, and emotional well-being, which is worth way more than the $49.95 that they probably charged me (will find out tomorrow when I can get to my online banking) through trickery.
