The city of POrtland Oregon went to composting, and cut our trash pickup service in 1/2. Therefore, we are paying $31.00 every OTHER week for trash pick up - I garbage can! My problem is I have had garbage (admittedly bulky) in a black gargage bag, placed/fit in my can, but the lid was up (my can was 1/2 full.) They didn't take the bag - it was "an overage". How can these people get away with this? Over charge and underserve. POrtland, are you listening!!
