Walmart - ease of shopping for senior citizens

Why is it that some new Wal-Mart floor plans are not SENIOR CITIZEN friendly? I was so happy that Wal-Mart was finally coming to the area where I live, until they opened the store. I am a senior citizen who also happens to be handicapped. The Wal-Mart's store floor plan where I live has the "pet" department on the opposite side of the store from the grocery department. I understand that this is a marketing strategy but "Senior's" don't need to shop for all the stuff in-between every time they come to your store! Almost every senior citizen in the USA has a pet, and having to go from one end of the store to the next if all they need is dog food and milk somehow just does not seem logical to a senior citizen who is handicapped and does not need a physical workout everytime they come to the store. Yes I know you have mobile carts for the handicap, (there is one available about every 15th time I go to Walmart). Oh yeah, and those friendly Walmart employees are always around if you need a large bag of dog food that is on the top shelf only. NOT! I finally gave up and continue to shop at the Brookshires which is only 500 feet down the road, which oddly seems to have their share of the senior consumers. I think Walmart is only "Senior-Friendly" for those who need a prescription filled. Walmart has given me the opinion that "Senior's" do not spend enough money at their stores to warrant consideration for the aged and their limitations. It's not like my opinion is going to amount to a hill of beans, BUT IT SURE MADE ME FEEL BETTER TO VOICE MY OPINION! Thank You for that at least.
