I called Absolute Comfort Air Conditioning on 16840 Clay Rd, #101, Houston, TX 77084, Tel. 281-550-5640, as a result of an ad placed on our subdivision monthly community newsletter because the A/C was not cooling.
The technician promised to be there within 2 hours. I asked him to call me when he is nearby; in the meantime I went to a neighbor and left someone else at the house.
Later he called to inform me that the work was finished, and that he forgot to call me. He was at the house less than 10 minutes and the bill was $ 335. When I asked what he did, he mentioned that “he changed a fuse”. I asked him to give me the old fuse back, and he said, he threw it away.
What a rip-off! Can you believe this?
Katy & West Houston Residents please learn from my bad experience and don’t fall for the teaser coupons that Absolute Comfort Air advertises in the subdivision newsletter.
If a company turns to fraud, lies and deception to make money, that is not the place to do business with…. Shame on them! There are many good, decent air conditioning repair companies, you’ve just got to ask your friends and neighbors for referrals and check them out online. And avoid Absolute Air Comfort Air Conditioning like a plague!
DON’T USE ABSOLUTE COMFORT AIR - spread the word to your friends and family, church members, neighbors, and to anyone who you really care about.
Also, don’t rely on the BBB rating - all they care about is that the members pay their fees – consumers cannot enter their bad experiences like you can do on many Internet rip-off reporting sites.
