I went to Sun Trust because they had commercials asking you to open an account there if your bank was bought out.

They said they had real time and they don't. I signed up for free checking and checks but when the $5 ATM fee came up, I was told I could switch to another account. When the fee was waived, all of the account types were changed.

Deposits and debits float around for days because they only post Monday through Friday after midnight.
