Like everyone else on this site I thought I may give Ziinga.com a try and won a phone on a one off free bid trial basis and decided to ask on their online chat facility when approximately I should expect to receive the phone, I was told that before I could receive the phone I needed to send details of a valid passport or a front and back scan of my credit card and the rest... Naturally I declined and decided to call the number provided on the site and cancel the transaction as I felt it was a scam and wanted to cancel. I was told I could do so but would have to pay a cancellation fee of £28 otherwise a fee of £59 would be deducted from my account monthly for the coming 3 months and no matter how I tried to tell them that I had not and would not enter into such an agreement they were having none of it so I gave up. So since then I have done my own research on the web and have come across this site and I am pretty alarmed and by all the posts I have read and will obviously be keeping a close account on my bank account. Surely there must be something that can be done under the fraudulent procedures Act as this is so obviously the case.
