Received parking ticket on co. Truck in city of Chicago.
Filed appeal by mail and included GPS reports from 3rd party vendor we use to show that NONE
of our vehicles were at the address where ticket was written.
In fact closest vehicle in city was 10.2 miles away that day.
Received determination that we were liable.
Called city and was told would have to go in person, pay 175.00 and file appeal.
City includes pictures on ticket violations, but guess what no image was available for this citation,
Imagine that! The truck ticketed was in the town of Glenview all Day and received a ticket in Chicago and the picture evidence of violation just happens to not be available. SHOCK!!!
Department of revenue attitude:
So you can prove they are wrong, too bad... Pay up and shut up.
Oh and if you think we are wrong, we will make it more expensive to be right so... Just pay up.
City politicians and its employees are bunch of thieving, overpaid, lazy slugs period.
Truth be Damned, THEY WANT YOUR CASH, they cannot control their spending and will find any way legal or not to extract from your wallet.
Way to go Rahm, city that works... My ass. "City that STEALS" is much more appropriate.
