Received a text about their software and was automatically charged for their app. I called them to have it removed and they told me that they couldn't because when I signed up for the service (which I didn't) it came with terms and conditions. I started with the service rep asking for a refund, then when to his supervisor. They told me they were a company called Mobile Media. I asked for their corporate hqtrs. Number and address and they gave me 1170 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills 90210. I told them that I felt their actions where fraudulent and that I have worked closely with the Gaming industry for over 8 years and if they didn't clear the charges I would take it to the Gaming Press and to the police. When I spoke those words they said that they would send me a check—we'll see. Additionally, I contacted my cell phone service provider and made a formal complaint about the company. At that time they saw the 9.99 charge to my account under Shaboom Media (another alias for the company) and that they would be happy to remove it. They are going to work with securing my line with a block so that I no longer get third party text soliciting and will investigate this company. I plan on taking this further!
