Lack of pod delivery and no notification - 16 foot container delivery

My pod were to be delivered Friday, May 11 between 2 and 5 PM. I called at 6 and was told they could not get a hold of the driver but the pod should be delivered that night.
Called again a few hours later. I got the same response but they also indicated that there was nothing in the order to suggest that the pod would not be delivered.
I called again after 10:00 pm but they were closed.
Saturday morning. I called at 6:00 AM but the site manager (Fort Worth) was not in yet. He would be in at 7:00. Call back then.
I called back at 7. The site manager was not answering.
I called back at 7:30 and after my fifth phone call to pods regarding the delivery of my pods I was informed that the fork lift was down at the warehouse so no pods were being delivered.
I had movers scheduled to come unload in one hour and they assured me that the pod would not go out Saturday or Sunday. Monday if I was lucky.
Monday was my day to return my pods. Now I will have to have them for an extra week - not to mention having to wait five extra days to receive my belongings and not having movers to help unload (they are now booked).
I am told they should be delivered today. I have now lost all faith in this company.
Why was this problem not reported to the call center so they could inform the customer?
Why were customers not notified proactively?
At the very least, pods should not charge me for the extra time and send me movers free of charge to unload my pods.

I have communicated with pods. So far, I only have an incident number.
