I went to Toys R Us to purchase a Spider-Man bike for my 3 year old son. My son was happy to see the bike he wanted was on display. I have asked the salesperson for a new one in a box but was told the floor sample was the last one. I was willing to buy the floor sample with the scratches at $70 but was appalled that I had to pay an additional $15 assembly charge. I had spoken to the manager, and to another manager. I claimed that this is bad customer service to charge the last item an additional $15 for a display model and they claimed it is just store policy.
