I had been using Fantastic Sam's for several years in Colorado so when I moved back to New Mexico I sought one out. I asked her to take off an inch and she cut an inch to my head. When I saw she had done that to one side I said what are you doing? That is way too short, she answered "no it isn"t". Then argued with me, saying that I told her I wanted it tapered. Where I come from taper is a shape, not a length. I should have known better than to let her cut my hair when I told her I was using one of FS hair thickening products and she made a face and said "I don't know anything about that... I don't know what that is". This little girl should not be cutting anyone's hair, ever. Does not listen, does not understand. I ended up getting my money back which is all they can do I guess but what a traumatic experience.
